I am a Montrealer studying at the University of Toronto as a Computer Science Specialist and Molecular Genetics Major.
I am affiliated with KITE (University Health Network), working with Professor Babak Taati on improving video human 2D pose detection and video human mesh recovery using Infini-Attention and VideoMamba, with the support of NSERC.
I also work at the Medical Imaging Department (University of Toronto) with Professor Pascal N. Tyrrell.
I am also a member of the International Genetically Engineered Machine (Toronto Team), where we developed plasmid.ai, the largest open-source ML toolkit for plasmid foundation models with Professor Michael J. Garton. As a dry lab team member, I fine-tuned Evo (a Striped-Hyena genome model) to generate plasmid sequences with antibacterial resistance.
I was fortunate to have been 1 of 12 teams representing Team Canada at the International Science and Engineering Fair with a computer vision project which was further expanded with Professor Houari Sahraoui at DIRO (Université de Montréal).
In my freetime, I am a bookworm who loves to eat pho and finding niche cafes to study while sipping on chai latte!
